Description

ABScript II Reverse Transcriptase is a recombinant M-MuLV reverse transcriptase with reduced RNase H activity and increased thermostability. It can be used to synthesize first strand cDNA at higher temperatures than the wild type M-MuLV. The enzyme is active up to 48°C, providing higher specificity, higher yield of cDNA and more full-length cDNA product up to 12 kb.
Product Features
  • Facilitates the synthesis of long cDNA fragments due to lower RNase H activity, and can synthesize cDNA up to 12 kb.
  • Still has high activity at 48℃, and facilitates reverse transcription of RNA templates with complex secondary structures.
  • Higher specific cDNA yield than 1st -generation reverse transcriptase at 37°C.
  • Can be stored at 25°C for 7 days, and the product performance remains stable.

Stability test
  • Using 100 ng/μL of Rat RNA as the template, performed with four 10-fold gradient dilution. Then, RK21400 was placed at 25°C for 7 days for cDNA one-strand synthesis. The results showed that the reagents performed well if placed at 25°C for 7 days.Note: The blue curve indicated that stored at -20℃, and the red curve indicated that stored at 25℃.
