ABScript III Reverse Transcriptase is a genetically engineered M-MuLV reverse transcriptase with reduced RNase H activity and improved thermal stability. Compared with wild-type M-MuLV, it can synthesize first-strand cDNA at higher temperature. Product still has features such as high activity at 50-55℃, higher specificity, higher yield, and the ability to synthesize cDNA up to 12 kb.
Product Features
Facilitates the synthesis of long cDNA due to the lower RNase H activity, and can synthesize cDNA up to 12 kb.
Still has high activity at 50-55℃, facilitates reverse transcription of RNA templates with complex secondary structures.
Has higher specific cDNA yield than 2nd generation reverse transcriptase at 42℃.
Suitable for SARS-CoV-2 detection.
Applications
Used for synthesis of the first and the second strand of full-length cDNA. The synthesized first strand of cDNA can be used for PCR and real-time PCR .
Storage
Upon receipt, store all components at -20°C.

Product Data
1. Sensitivity test
Using 100 ng/μL of Rat RNA as template , and performed with four 10-fold gradient dilution. Then, RT-qPCR amplifification was performed using ABScript III reverse transcriptase, and reagent sensitivity was tested. The results showed that target fragments can be well detected.
