Description
MethyLight 2X qPCR Probe Master Mix is a probe-based reagent for real time PCR reaction. It is a powerful tool for MSP analysis of methylated DNA and multi-target detection in epigenetic research.It is an optimized premix containing DNA polymerase,
dNTPs, MgCl2, KCI and other stabilizers. The optimized master mixes ensure that the PCR products in a reaction with bisulfite converted DNA as starting material are amplified with high efficiency and sensitivity.
This product is a 2× concentration master mix, which contains all the components required for MethyLight qPCR reactions except primers, probes and templates.
Product Features
- Specificity: Specificly identify methylated and non-methylated templates;
- Universality: Compatible with DNA enzymatic conversion and bisulfite conversion;
- Stability: Can be stored for 40d at 37°C;
Applications
MSP (Methylation Specific PCR)
Storage
Upon receipt, store all components at -20°C.

Product Data
1. Specificity
- Figure 1:Methylated template and non-methylated template were converted using bisulfite, respectively, and then Methylated primer probes and ummethylated primer probes of the same target are added simultaneously. The specificity of RK21240 is obiviously, and it can distinguish methylated templates from non-methylated templates.
2. Stability
- Figure 2:Methylated bisulfite conversion template; copy numbers 2000, 200, 20; -20 °C control (red) vs 37 °C testing condition (green), the results showed that RK21240 could be placed at 37 °C for 40 days, and the amplification performance was stable.
3. Clinical sample test
- Figure 3:5ng ctDNA (SHYF84- sample of metastatic lung cancer) was converted by bisulfite, and qPCR detection was performed by RK21240 and its competitor, respectively, and the results showed that the RK21240 (green) was far better than that of similar competitors (red).
