Flow cytometry:1X10^6 K-562 cells (negative control, Left) and HepG2 cells (Right) were surface-stained with ABflo® 647 Rabbit anti-Human CAR/CXADR mAb(A22696, 5 μl/Test, orange line) or ABflo® 647 Rabbit IgG isotype control (A22070, 5 μl/Test, blue line). Non-fluorescently stained cells were used as blank control (red line).

Flow cytometry:1X10^6 HepG2 cells were surface-stained with ABflo® 647 Rabbit IgG isotype control (A22070, 5 μl/Test, left) or ABflo® 647 Rabbit anti-Human CAR/CXADR mAb (A22696, 5 μl/Test, right).

Background

The protein encoded by this gene is a type I membrane receptor for group B coxsackieviruses and subgroup C adenoviruses. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. Pseudogenes of this gene are found on chromosomes 15, 18, and 21.
