Western blot analysis of lysates from 293T(Transfection) and control 293T cells, using IL9 Rabbit mAb (A24007) at 1:1000 dilution.
Secondary antibody: HRP-conjugated Goat anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (AS014) at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25μg per lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.
Detection: ECL Basic Kit (RM00020).
Exposure time: 30s.

ABclonal:Flow CytoMetry - IL9 Rabbit mAb (A24007)

1X10^6 293T cells (negative control, left) and 293T(Transfection, right) cells were intracellularly-stained with IL9 Rabbit mAb(A24007, 2μg/mL, orange line) or ABflo® 488 Rabbit IgG isotype control (A22069, 2μg/mL, blue line), followed by FITC conjugated goat anti-rabbit pAb (1:200 dilution) staining. Non-fluorescently stained cells were used as blank control (red line).

Flow cytometry:1X10^6 293T(Transfection) cells were intracellularly-stained with ABflo® 488 Rabbit IgG isotype control (A22069, 2 μg/mL, left) or IL9 Rabbit mAb(A24007, 2 μg/mL, right).

Background

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that acts as a regulator of a variety of hematopoietic cells. This cytokine stimulates cell proliferation and prevents apoptosis. It functions through the interleukin 9 receptor (IL9R), which activates different signal transducer and activator (STAT) proteins and thus connects this cytokine to various biological processes. The gene encoding this cytokine has been identified as a candidate gene for asthma. Genetic studies on a mouse model of asthma demonstrated that this cytokine is a determining factor in the pathogenesis of bronchial hyperresponsiveness.
